The mysterious Apple Car appears to have become a myth due to a lack of official news, apart from several rumors about its development. If the grapevine is to be believed, Apple will invest $ 3.6 billion in KIA Motors to set up a car manufacturing partnership with one of the largest and most well-known Korean automakers. The news was reportedly published by a Korean website called Ilbo. According to the report, KIA Motors – a subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Group – plans to partner with Apple, with the former overseeing production of Apple cars at a new manufacturing facility in Georgia, United States.
The report adds that Apple and KIA could sign an agreement by February 17, 2021, as the earlier plans to launch the car by 2024.
